December at Sherwood House
Residents and staff at Sherwood House have had a fun-filled holiday month of December.
We organized an array of exciting and safe activities for our residents, including bingo, dog therapy,
movie and popcorn nights, stitch and craft days, and more! Residents of all abilities were able to
stay active with our exercise strength-building classes, chair yoga, and Zumba.
With Covid-19 cases on the rise in British Columbia, we have kept residents safe and healthy,
while staying in accordance with all of the health and safety regulations in place.
We spread some Christmas joy by welcoming entertaining performances by choir singers and a
brass and wind band. Residents particularly enjoyed hearing everyone’s favourite classic
holiday songs.
To get even more into the holiday spirit, we hosted our ugly Christmas sweater
day, where we had a good laugh seeing everyone’s silly sweaters. We had lots of fun at our
Christmas party with Bob Meikle, Christmas eve festivities and our Christmas day dinner. We
want to give a big thank you to all residents, staff, volunteers and guests who made this holiday
season so special.
Happy New Year!
